It's coming, but they won't call it what it is (but we're used to that by now).
The greatest, most violent and sadistic social experiment is about to begin in American schools. We are about to see what happens when we arm teachers and canvas the population for volunteers to stand guard, with their rifles, handguns, and Bibles ready, in order to "protect" school children.
Yeah, this'll work.
Republicans have called every sucessful liberal program, from Social Security to Nutrition Labeling, a grand "liberal social experiment" calculated to modify our "freedoms" in some way. Even Obamacare, which has the goal of providing health care to all Americans, is labeled as a vast, social experiment by the pukes we call conservative Republicans. It absolutely amazes me that these (so-called) people, these Republicans, can't see a real social experiment when they give birth to it, assisted this time by the level heads of the National Rightomurder, oops, I mean National Regressive Assholes, oops, I mean NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION. (Yeesh it's hard to get that out these days. )
We can't stop them. Science, logic doesn't matter to enraged, righteous conservative Republicans. We know that we can't stop them with anything less than a tooth-breaking punch to the face when they get excited on guns, empty-headed patriotism, and the value-of-the-day-they-think-will-gain-them-voters. It can't be done. Therefore, like it or not, we will see a bunch of guns in our schools shortly. It can't be stopped. The right, filled with climate change deniers, flat earthers, preppers and assorted degenerate racist and bigotted minds, will do ANYTHNG to bully their ideas into your lives (or your bedrooms, or vaginas).
So accept it. Allow for the fact that we will go through, oh, maybe ten years before we see the full result of this misguided, for-profit idea of the NRA to be seen for what it is - more macho posturing and bullshit. It won't stop killings in schools and will, all science points in this direction, make things worse. BUT ... when has science ever effected the mind of a conservative Republican, unless you count the addled brain pan of Boehner every morning, noon, and night, the result of his documented, excessive use of the legal drug alcohol.
Oh, the fun future historians will have with this. And the headlines. I'm going to predict ten headlines now, that I believe will be the most likely tragedies we will see in the near future should Republicans get their way and arm teachers and other people in schools.

It's coming, America. You can't stop it. Nothing will stop Republicans until they have amassed so many examples of their errors they can't possibly deny them, no matter how much booze they ingest so they can look at their sad, pathetic faces in the mirror. They'll change then, and they'll try to claim the failed experiment was due to "liberals" in some way. We've seen this before, too many times. But all is not lost! You won't be able to stop this - it's already gained too much steam - but you can VOTE ALL REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE AND NEVER, NEVER EVER, ALLOW THEM TO INHABIT ANY GOVERNMENT OFFICE EVER AGAIN. It's the only way.
